Da tempo il teatro e il teatro d’opera risentono di una profonda crisi che trova il suo apice con la pandemia dovuta alla diffusione del Covid19.
Le iniziative diventano sempre più difficili e il teatro rischia di diventare ancora più esclusivo, distanziandosi involontariamente dal cuore della società
Sono tanti gli sprechi per quel che riguarda i materiali di costruzione. Assisto alla demolizione di scenografie senza tener conto delle materie prime; spesso i magazzini sono costretti a chiudere.
Si fa sempre più presente l’esigenza di un teatro economico, ma che sia per tutti.
Causa dell’isolamento del teatro dalla società è anche una mancanza di informazione e formazione all’interno di scuole dell’infanzia fino ad arrivare ai massimi livelli. Una eccessiva semplificazione e stereotipizzazione della situazione sta portando una realtà importante, socialmente ed economicamente, alla scomparsa.
Si rende necessaria una nuova forma di divulgazione artistica che comprenda i tre grandi problemi che ci riguardano: AMBIENTE, ISTRUZIONE E SANITA’.
Da anni sentiamo dire (e vediamo) quanto il sistema ambiente sia in difficoltà e in forte crisi. ECOTEATRO propone di creare un sistema artistico-teatrale che possa trovare terreno fertile nella società, perché solo vivendo a stretto contatto col territorio il teatro può crescere e trovare nuova vita, rispettando e entrando in sintonia con le esigenze sociali e ambientali; solo così il teatro potrà tornare a essere importante socialmente (come l’acqua pubblica) e non rimanere una specie di contenitore chiuso a chi non se lo può permettere o non lo conosce.

There are so many waste when it comes to building materials. I witness the demolition of sceneries without taking into account the raw materials; often the warehouses are forced to close.
The need for an economic theatre, but one that is for everyone, is becoming more and more present.
The isolation of the theatre from society is also due to a lack of information and training within schools of children to reach the highest levels. Excessive simplification and stereotyping of the situation is leading to the disappearance of an important social and economic reality.
A new form of artistic dissemination is needed which includes the three major problems that concern us: the environment, education and health.
For years we have heard (and seen) how much the environment system is in difficulty and in severe crisis. ECOTEATRO proposes to create an artistic-theatrical system that can find fertile ground in society, because only by living in close contact with the territory the theater can grow and find new life, respecting and becoming in tune with social and environmental needs; only in this way the theatre can return to being important socially (like public water) and not remain a kind of a closed container to those who cannot afford it or do not know it.
